Sergei Semak urged Zenit St. Petersburg to get one step closer to retain the Russian Premier League title after winning the upcoming game against Kuban Krasnodar
Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergei-Semak-c32976, has demanded a fine performance from his teammates in the upcoming Russian Premier League tie against Kuban Krasnodar at Stadion Kuban, in order to get one step closer to the league
title. 
Semak revealed that Zenit are close to retaining the league title and need to collect the maximum 6 points from the upcoming matches against Kuban and Dynamo Moscow.
The last time these two teams played against each other during the third league round, Kuban got away with a point on the away turf. Semak has urged his teammates to claim all three points against the underdogs.
Semak, who joined the St. Petersburg club from Rubin Kazan back in 2010, will add another league title to his tally, having already won league trophies with CSKA Moscow and the Kazan-based club previously.
The prolific midfielder went on to admit that the Cossacks are desperate to alter the situation after a bad start to the third league round. He warned his side against complacency, telling them to be careful against Kuban at home.
“I think Kuban have a lot of potential to upset and they have proved themselves by claiming a place between the top-eight Russian teams. We need to show our dedication in the games like Kuban. They have assembled a good team and not
everyone can beat the Cossacks.” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.

Speaking on whether the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder will extend his stay with the Russian outfit, Semak refused to speculate on his future, admitting that he will make a decision at the end of the ongoing season.
