  1. the relation among quantities that are given in the question, that is, velocity, wavelength and frequency is as follow

    velocity = frequency * wavelength

    now

    wavelength = 3.2 mm = 0.0032 m

    velocity = 340 m/s (in air for sound waves)

    frequency = velocity/ wavelength

                  = 340/0.0032 = 106250 Hz

  2. wavelength = speed divided by frequency

    The speed of sound is about 343 m/s.  Convert to proper units, and solve for frequency.
