In the sport of diving, when they jump of the springboard, how many feet do they land before entering the pool?

How deep is the swimming pool in this sport?

i dont get what 'how many feet do they land before entering the pool?' means...

do u mean how far they r apart from the board while entering the water?? well u dont want to get too close n not too far cuz u'll lose a lot of energy n u'll hav less time in the air to do ur moves...

the pools r usually at least 18 or 19 feet deep...

The spring board is always 3 meters or 9.84 feet.

The pool at the 2008 olympics is 5 meters or 19.1 feet deep.

There is a 1 meter and 3 meter springboard, and how far you actually have to fall is based on at least how high you jump.

Diving pools can range in depth of 10 feet to, as much as 18, 19, 20 feet
