The st. ives apricot scrub?

does the st. ives apricot scrub for blackheads and blemishes work well? is it worth the money? if so...how often should i use it along with my benzaclin/differin face creams?

  1. The thing about cheap-o scrubs such as the St. Ives Apricot Scrub is that their cheap. To create the perfect scrub, the granules in it have to be perfectly round (like the crystals the doctors used when giving microdermabrasions. In case you didn't know, a scrub is suppose to be like a "at home microderm." Really. It's not.) Anyway, the cheap scrubs have granules that are triangular in size, which can cause microscopic tears in your skin. Which then can fill up with dirt, oils, bacteria,.. and cause you to break out more.

    I suggest not using a scrub. To exfoliate (which a scrub is suppose to do), try using a cleanser contain salicylic acid. Or a mud mask.

    im only 13 but ive had bad acne for YEARS and absolutely hate it!!

    but ive tries SO many different things.

    i can give u some advice though::

    -dont pick at it,, they will get worse and scar, I'm sure you have heard that

    -dint use the kits... they also cause cancer and other related diseases

    nothing has worked for me,, but other things have worked for other people i know. only one thing has worked and its very confuzing. i hope i helped. [:
