  1. i believe the answer is prophase ... the reason i believe that i because that is the only one that makes since enough to even secon guess it

  2. The cell cycle is divided into several phases: Interphase = G1-->S-phase--->G2 and then from interphase the cell enters --->mitosis.

    Mitosis is

    1.Prophase

    2.Metaphase.

    3.Anaphase.

    4.Telophase.

  3. Meiosis is for the s*x cells and mitosis is for the other (regular) cells, like skin cells. The way that I remember the order of the mitotic stages is PMAT.

    1)prophase

    2)metaphase

    3)Anaphase

    4)telaphase

    5)and of course.... cytokinesis

  4. Meiosis or Mitosis

  5. Do you mean the stage of the cell cycle or the stage of cell division?  The stage of the cell cycle that is broken down into further stages is Mitosis (which broken down into Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, and Telophase) or Meiosis (Prophase-Telophase I & II).

But, since the cell cycle is not the same as cell division (which would generally be considered Mitosis or Meiosis), then the stage of cell division which is usually broken down further is Prophase I of Meiosis (into Leptonema, Zygonema, Pachynema, Diplonema, and Diakinesis).
