She has a history of rage and has killed sm animals and hurt sm children. The state said take her back or terminate your rights. I did not want to do either. I have a 4 year old son. She has accused 4 people of molesting her. She said she wanted my husband of 9 years out of the house and would point the finger at him, too. I was forced to terminate my rights. I still want to talk to her on the phone or mail, but the state won't let me. She is 12 yrs old and diagnosed as bi polar, rage disorder, ADHD, and defiant disorder. Does anyone have advice? I know I can't have her come live with me, I just want to be able to talk to her.

  2. OMG........NO......Go see a physciatrist!!!!

  3. um look i know u want to talk to her because she is ur daughter but she is deeply disturbed for the sake of ur husband and ur son i'd advise u not to even think of talking to her

  4. I don't even know what to say really. Were there not any organizations or doctors that could help you guys before it got to this point? I'm not saying your to blame at all mind you, I just wonder why there isn't any help available for people who need it.

I guess I have a hard time understanding how it came to be that you had to terminate rights to your child. This doesn't make sense to me. It seems like a very barbaric thing to make someone either take back there child in that condition when they cannot help them or to just give them up?

I know here we live in a fairly small area and we even have homes for children like this where they can be diagnosed and treated in order to have a chance at a normal life someday. Is this not an option where you are?

Also what is going to happen to your child now? How is she going to get help?

Has your daughter had treatment and not responded? Maybe she hasn't had the proper treatment?

I know I'm asking more than answering but I'd like to understand more to give a better answer.

I think the people who say you need to cut ties with your child are wrong. This is your child, bottom line. Did they tell you that you cannot have any contact with her?

I would just try to follow your heart as amother and do what you think feels right. My heart goes out to you, I pray that things work out for your daughter and the rest of your family.

  5. I am so sorry that your situation is so bad. Sorry I have no advice too. Only keep writing to her and telling her how you feel - one day she may be stable enough to understand/appreciate your feelings and be able to/want to be in contact.

  6. God sounds like the child from h**l. that's a deadly combo of sicknesses. Good luck.

  7. 1. Get her on Ritalin or Adderall

    2. Call a theropist.

    3. get her on Zolaft for biopolar

  8. Wow....What a mess she is.

You need to cut your ties to her. Move somewhere that she can't find you later on. I know it's tough, but you NEED to consider the safety of the normal people that are close to you. Good luck.....You're going to need lots of it.

  9. What you want and what the state has determined are two different things.  Obviously you could not control your daughter or showed no interest in getting her help so the state stepped in to do your job. You are not allowed to speak with her because you will only make matters worse, I suggest you concentrate on making sure your son's needs (whatever they be) are met or you may wind up losing him as well.
