  3. I can try to help some although without a complete study I can't clearly remember details.

I think Sheba was located near what is now Yemen in the middle east.  This was a hub of commerse and at that time a rich nation.  Also very pagan.  Yes she captured Soloman's heart but who didn't.  The man had over 1000 wives.

The lesson of Sheba is that God's people can be swayed by clebrity and wealth to follow practices not of God in direct disobeideance, sry can't spell, She and her servants got Sol to let her build a pagan temple and the jews revolted and turned from him as well as God removing his spirit.  All and all another bone head mistake by Soloman who gave us lots of lessons to learn from.  Hope this helps.  God Bless you.

  4. Good morning Marian....The Mysterious Queen of Sheba and exotic! She has been immortalized in the world's great religious works, among them the Hebrew Bible and the Muslim Koran. Now if you have read your Bible (1 Kings 10v1-13), this is the  first appearance of the tale of Queen Sheba and King Solomon. Now the Queen of Sheba, her history remains as an enigma. She was a woman of power, an adoring mother, and a mysterious lover. Also a founder of nations and some say a demon with a cloven hoof. As to where the place or country the Queen came from is a mystery, however only a few countries are entitled to possibly claim the Queen. The precious stones, spices, and incense, that the Queen had brought as gifts from her homeland to the King must have been a country rich in gems and incense trees. So with this in mind these countries would possibly be  Somalia, Ethiopia, in the horn of Africa, and Oman and Yemen. So could the land of Sheba be one of these countries? As to the relationship of the Queen to King Solomon it has been written that Solomon had given his heart to the Queen in body and soul. Hope this has helped. Have a great day!
