  1. A strong nation is dangerous only if the power is misused. Some go on a theory of conquest like the spanish and British a couple centuries back. But consider the strength of america, and the positive use of power and influence. If america was power hungry, we would own the world, but the force we wield is used for peace and stability, not conquest. We haven't used force of acquisition since americans destroyed the native americans, which was wrong(I'm part cherokee)but necessary apparently.

  2. Of course. The more powerful they get, the more cards they have on the table.

  3. dont agree with vernon c

now with all the nuclear weapons n stuff, noone cud win in a fullscale war, not only the WW

none of the leaders wud even try to start one if they are somehow not absolutely brainless

tho yeah the local conflicts are likely to happen every now n then

  4. Absolute truth. As says "There is power, there is no brains (humanism) necessary."
