Is there still a future for civil engineers?

since the economy is slowing down is it going to be hard for them to find work

im planin to take sturctural engineering any suggestions

    You will never make as much money as say a lawyer or banker unless you have your own business, but you will have a great deal of job satisfaction.

    Economic slowdowns are short term and the world has enough problems to keep all engineers in work for a long time to come.

  4. Being a Civil Engineer, I am telling you that present population of this Universe is about 6.25 Billions. And the lion share of this population is in the Developing Countries. The basic need of human being is a roof, whether it will be of concrete or leaves. The demand of Civil Engineer is lying there. The demand is really high. So I am assuring you that there is a very good market. Go ahead.
