The success at the Crayford track for the Grade OR triumphant enjoyed the glee of victory
The Crayford track scheduled four Grade OR races, covering different distances on Sunday. Among the prestigious events on 8th October meeting John Davidson & Colin Wilson Memorial Trophy, proclaimed Diesel Malc the winner of the £1250 purse. The
lucky hound grabbed the spotlight after winning the most money, for trainer M Fawsitt.
The Grade OR races began their show from the DOT AND REG Stakes. Covering the 540 meters distance the race entailed the purse of £275, which was won by J Liles’s Aghadown Donna.
The blue b***h was placed in the show as the idyllic hound with the highest bets. As the signal was given, the trap 1 racer marched through the track with quite an impressive pace.
With odds of 9/4, J Liles’s four-year-old b***h soon attained the pointer position and while remaining at the lead, she successfully managed to cross over in 34.11 seconds.
Right after the first combat the second show entailing the same amount of purse as DOT AND REG Stakes took place. As the 714 meters race the John Davidson Family Trophy, opened its traps the white and brindle b***h Mountjoy Orion, not sent in the show with
the most bets gave a fabulous hit for trainer M Wallis.
The trap 2 racer wearing blue and white jacket started off her pursuit for the purse with a striking early pace. As she preceded herself towards the wire the two-year-old took the head start position, and concluded her chase in total 45.89 sec.
The young champ impressively won the purse by whitewashing the most favourite hound of the race Rough Lass for M Dennis, who lost the chase due to her lethargic pace.
The third Grade OR race which opened its trap for the big purse of £1250 was John Davidson & Colin Wilson Memorial Trophy. The hound who was fortunate enough to present a tremendous hit by covering the 540 meters race, in 34.21 seconds was Diesel Malc.
Trainer M Fawsitt’s brindle dog was sent in with even odds, his swiftness and rapidity in the chase helped him in conquering at the pointer position, he sustained there until he crossed over.
M Fawsitt’s three-year-old victorious hound got hold of the wire in total 34.21 seconds.
The last Grade OR race that made black dog Zenas Jack, the star of the show was the Friends John Davidson Trophy.
Trainer G L Davidson’s trap 1 racer stated off with an inspiring chase, as he dashed through the track with an astonishing speed, Zenas Jack attained the leading position.
In 23.74 seconds, the champion got hold of the wire and won the race for trainer G L Davidson.
The winners of the Grade OR shows presented eye catching performances at Crayford. With their inspiring chase, they were able to win the purse and bring celebrations for their trainers.
