The sun is the reason for Global warming?

How do i know? Becasue Mars ice caps are melting as we speak. The sun is used up half its enegry which means that now it is at its most powerful, meaning its hottest right now, causing the Earth to heat up. You don belive me? Then why are Mars ice caps melting? Are there green house gasses there to? Like a baseball player in his prime hes best in the middle rather the beginning or the end. GLOBAL WARMING IS FINALLY SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REJOICE PPL

Yes with out the sun the ice caps wouldn't be melting but if we didn't have the sun there would be no life on earth. The plant's need the sun and we need the sun because it gives us Vitamin D.

Here's a few articles about the effects of solar radiance on earth's temp. I'm sure they're not peer reviewed, and the guy's too old, or went to the wrong school, and gets checks in the mail from oil companies and d**k Cheney, but I found them interesting. I feel certain that the agw crowd hasn't figured out the solar radiance issue.

There is no one reason for global warming. The sun has kinda been for a long time so I don't think its the one reason.

The Earths average temperature has been rather constant for MILLIONS of years. The ice caps melting on mars are totally separate from Earths global warming crisis.

We don't know everything about mars. They could have easily had a ecosystem like earth, complete with an ozone layer. There could have been life there that did what we're going now, depleting the layer and causing global warming.

Greenhouse gasses, or GHG, are one of the biggest contributors to global warming. They affect the atmosphere, the most fragile of the Earths ecological systems. GHG are in the atmosphere naturally because they help regulate the average global temperature. When the sun shines on Earth, the atmosphere allows sunlight in as lightwaves. Some rays are trapped by the GHG and heat the Earth while the rest are radiated back into space. Without them, the Earth would be a cold and inhabitable 0°F, but the more GHG in the atmosphere, more lightwaves are trapped to heat the Earth.

Human activities, such as the burning of fossil fuels, our dependency on oil and the burning of forests are making our chances of reversing global warming harder to achieve. The more forests we burn, the less vegetation there is to absorb the CO2, and the more forests we burn, the more CO2 we release into the atmosphere in the smoke. Because of us, CO2 is accumulating faster than nature can remove it.

The sun getting hotter is not what's causing Global warming. Its the depleting Ozone layer that protects our planet from over heating and the buildup of GHG that are causing light waves to be be caught under our atmosphere and super heating our planet.

Also, the sun was hottest at it's creation and when it become a black hole.

So yeah. GLOBAL WARMING IS NOT FINALLY SOLVED!!!!!!!! YOU'RE THEORY IS WRONG!!!!! REJOICE PPL

Well, you're in the ballpark. It isn't the sun directly, its the sunspots that are causing it. We've recently come out of one of the biggest solar maximums in history, very power sunspot activity for years. The scientists have been drooling for months to see the next maximum begin, but it hasn't. For months now the sun has been dead, dead, dead. Sunspot density is measured in factors, average number of spots divided by ten. Anything less than 10 is considered zero. July is not only a relative zero, it is an actual zero. Not a single sunspot. What's more, it's been relative zero for more than half a year. Sunspots should have up swung last year, and a few scientists are getting nervous we might be entering another Maunder Minimum. The global warming nutroots have been trying to deny that the solar cycle is solely responsible for all the supposed MGM of the last 50 years, but now that the temperature is plummeting as a result of no sunspot activity, there is an unofficial media blackout under way. I check it every morning. Global warming is not even on the radar, I'd start thinking about stocking up on heating oil and winter jackets if the sun doesn't wake up soon. Next winter could be a real monster.

You are incorrect.  Only one of Mars' ice caps is melting.  The other is growing.  Additionally, there are other causes of global warming than greenhouse gas emissions or the Sun.  In Mars' case, it's dust storms darkening the planet's surface.

Moreover, if your theory were correct, every planet and moon in the solar system would be warming.  That's simply not the case.

And finally, we've monitored solar output directly with satellites for 30 years now.  On average, solar output has not increased over that period, and yet the Earth has warmed rapidly.  And your understanding of the solar life cycle is completely wrong.  Stars don't get hottest in the middle of their life cycle.

No... the sun is not the reason for global warming.  It is the fact that the milky way is drifting off its axis.  We are slowly moving away from us and towards Wormwood.  That is what is making global warming.
