remanding back to the ninth circuit court the matter of... If interest is due on a 1996 award to the plaintiffs. They previously cut the award ( last month ) to 20 percent of what the ninth circuit awarded. But ruling was unclear as to interest This insures the longest running civil case in US history ( 19 years now ) will go on for more YEARS. Why does this concern you? The greatest inviromental disaster in the history of the United states and the company that caused it is getting off with only paying punitive damages of one days profit: Or two if the interest is ordered. Justice delayed 21 years is justice denied. After the ninth circuit court rules for the fourth time on this case it goes back to the supreme court to be excepted or put back to where it stands now at 507 million and interest not addressed.
