  1. d. You first add 1 to the x value and then square it to get y.

    _/

  2. If when you type 'x2' you mean x squared (for clarity should be written as x^2);

    The answer is D.

    X = 1; (1+1)^2 = 2^2 = 4 = y

    X = 2; (2+1)^2 = 3^2 = 9= y

    X = 3; (3+1)^2 = 4^2 = 16= y

    X = 4; (4+1)^2 = 5^2 = 25= y

    Note how y is always the square of the number one greater than the x value.

  3. D

    its always d, unless its c
