Question:

The taste of cigarettes?

Sorry about putting this in with the beer drinkers......

As a non smoker I'm curious why smokers are brand loyal. Don't all cigarettes of equal strength taste more or less the same? Also, would there be any difference in taste between the same brands but from different countries of origin?

Thanks for any answers.

  1. Brands do have different tastes. For me it was the enjoyment of smoking while drinking. The drawback was the aftertaste the next morning. Quite disgusting.

    Don't start.

  2. I'm an ex-smoker....just like pop or beer, cigarettes are different.

some may compare a bit, like Pepsi and Coke but still are different.

Does this help?  And they are different strength..especially the filter

    and non filter kind.

I quit a very long time ago but still drink pop or beer.

  3. No Marlboro reds taste nonthing Like Newports 1 is menthnol the other is not.

  4. Each brand does have it's own individual taste and some are 'smoother' than others
