  4. Well, the correct answer is B),

    However, for my LCD TV, the main part runs on DC, the power supply brick is a seperate unit, I'm pretty sure that if I just looked at the data label on the TV (it's on a wall mount so I can't right now) , and not at the power supply, it would say something like 20V DC.  It doesn't really matter, the answer to your question is still B) alternating,  I just mention it to show that one needs to be careful when asking and answering questions like that.
