 Teddy Sheringham: £3.5m
Teddy Sheringham is an English retired footballer that used to play the position of a striker. He started his career with Millwall in 1983, where he spent the next eight years giving in two hundred and twenty appearances, with ninety three goals scored.
Then after two loans he moved to Nottingham Forest for a year, giving in forty seven appearances with fourteen goals scored. Then he moved to White Hart lane for five years, giving a hundred and sixty six appearances for the club and netting seventy six
goals, in the process. Then in 1997 he made a move to Manchester United for four years, where he gave in a hundred and four appearances, with scoring thirty one goals. Then he made numerous more moves from the Spurs to West Ham United and in the end he moved
to Colchester United, in 2007. After only a year and nineteen appearances made, he announced his official retirement from football.
Sheringham was originally signed as Eric Cantona’s replacement and went on to spend four lustrous years with the Red Devils squad. This English striker did justify his coming to Old Trafford at such a high transfer price ,as this player made the difference
and left his mark ,when he scored in the FA Cup finals match .he also scored the equalizer in the 1999 Champions league match, interestingly this goal came in the stoppage time of the match.This goal in the dying moments of the Champions league, is known as
one of the greatest moments in the history of the English Premier League.
 Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: £1.5m
Ole Gunnar Solskajer is a retired Norwegian footballer that has currently managed to move from the playing positions in the squad, to the management side.
He is currently thirty-seven-years-old and started his football career with the youth academy of Clausenengen, in 1989. Then after amazingly scoring a hundred and fifteen goals from just a hundred and nine appearances, he made a move to Molde. He came to
Molde in 1994, where he made forty-two appearances and scored thirty-one goals. During this time he caught the eye of numerous, English Premier League clubs and the eye of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got himself a transfer to Manchester United, only after two years.
He came to Old Trafford in 1996 and quickly became an integral part of the team. He became a goal scoring machine. He made two hundred and fifteen appearances for the Red Devils and in the process, scored ninety-one goals. This marked the Norwegian’s peak
in professional football.
In 2007, after serving the Red Devils for a full eleven years, he retired from professional football. He also had been a long standing part of the Norwegian national team, as he got recruited in 1995 and was a part of the squad for the next eleven years.
In the process, Old Gunnar Solskjaer made sixty-seven appearances for the national squad’s first team and netted twenty-three goals for the countries glory.
