The test place lost my SAT test what is going to happen???

I took the standardized test for 7th grade and they have no recored of me taking it. Do I have to take it again?

  1. did you take a standardized test or the SAT reasoning test?

    i do believe that there is a difference.

    also, scores are taken off your record after four years and go into a "storage" type thing; you can use these scores, but you'd have to call collegeboard (at least for AP tests..)

    with the SAT reasoning test, you do have to take it again in high school. they don't keep the records for any SAT you took before the ninth grade.


  2. Depends on why you were taking it and who lost it.

    Colleges very seldom look at anything in the records before high school.

  3. Yes, most likely. colleges l;ook at things like that so even if they say you dont need it, i would ask to take it again because to colleges  it is a reasurance of your intelligence.
