If you sit on the upper deck of a Route 55 or Route 243 bus, all along Old Street/Clerkenwell Road you can see on top of most of the bus shelters things that look like a ball of plasticine with a bunch of multicoloured matches sticking out of them. Does anybody know what they are?

  1. The newest bus shelters are being equipped with wi-fi. Sounds like you've got some of them.

  2. You mean these?

"Conceptual art", it would seem (it kind of suits the neighbourhood of "Shoreditch/South Hoxton"....as there is much unexplained "artwork" about there).

They've been there for, at least, several months now (in fact both of those photos were taken over a year ago)
