  1. The beautiful Grand Canal. From Piazalli Roma to the Lagoon.


  2. As noted the other two times you asked this, it's still the Grand Canal.

  3. The main road into Venice (from land) is a bridge and it's called "Ponte della Libertà" (or the bridge of liberty) and it was built by the Fascists.

    There actually are no roads in Venice because there are no cars. The city is traveled either by boat or by foot.... the city is full of canals and the main one is the Grand Canal or "Canal Grande".

  4. Complicated question.  As others have mentioned the bridge and the Grand canal, I'll mention another route.  

    Canale Guidecca.  This route brings in the larger boats/ships to the Statzione Marittima.

    Street wise there are very few streets more than 300/500 metres
