  1. don't worry, everything will go well.  Just R-E-L-A-X!

  2. Baz Luhrmann said this in a speech called "Everybodys Free (to wear sunscreen)

"Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as

effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing

bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that

never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm

    on some idle Tuesday."

You'll be fine, just make sure you wear your seatbelt on the way to your surgery. ;-)

  3. Do some research, and you'll discover that this is a very rare occurence (the anesthia not working)  Next try to calm yourself by knowing that this paricular surgery of yours is among the least painful  (when compared to open-heart, organ transplant, or amputation.  If the worst happened, you would survive it with less emotional scars than one who endures amputation, etc., without benefit of amputation.  Finally, calm yourslef further by realizing you've come thru this surgery just fine before, and that you are a very good candidate for anethesia.  Your doctor alreasy knows what anesthia works best for you - i'ts in your records.  You'll be fine, and good luck! :)

  4. Lol just chill man i have recently gone through 2 surgeries 1 major back surgery and 1 dental and also i'd like to mention i am scared of doctors and clinics and hospitals sum sort of phobe i guess. anyway i can understand and also can feel what you are going through but i assure you "there is nothing to worry about" have faith in the doctor and science technology is amazing dude its just "magic".

believe in yourself be tough and strong and be positive

there is nothing to be afraid of as by experience i can assure you that your yourself would be surprised and amazed that "surgery has already been done" << believe me i was shocked myself lol anyway if your in pain go for it cause living in pain is h**l so better go through surgery and make yourself fit again :)

    last but not the least

    Dont worry Be happy!!

    Science is magic

Just be brave and go for it and trust me "you will feel brave after surgery"

and you will be surprised by the time surgery is over

    good luck my best wishes

  5. the only time i had surgery , I had dreams that made me think  i was trippin'...i wanted them to put me back under, but they wouldn't!!!

  6. Yeah - stop seeing c**p movies.

We all just love that Hollywood has taken one of the safest aspects of medicine (anesthesiologists are all about safety) and tried to scare people.

The risk of being paralyzed and awake is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the risk of you crashing your car on the way to the hospital.

Your own experience has been positive, so why are you believing fiction over that?

    Come to your senses.

  7. don't worry they do have very good machines to tell if your awake or not so just go in and get it done and over with

  8. Think of the alternative if you dont have the surgery. If you have any misgivings talk to your doctor about this to ease your mind.If you havent had complications in the past it is highly unlikely that you will this time.Take a friend with you that might make you less nervous.Dont watch anymore scary movies.Especially those dealing with something so close to home.

  9. mum i thought that they give u medicine to make u sleep and if they dint then be calm most likely its like 85% chence u will live and dont worry just keep calm and dont move!!! lol!

  10. Who in the world is not feeling nervous when you are going to undergo surgery? I too will freak out.

But you had surgery before and it is ok. Just believe that you will be ok again.  And don't ever watch scary movies again.

  11. well if you have to go to surgery you have to.it is only worse if you avoided surgery.you must never do that.
