  1. FALSE

  2. False. Virginia has at least two.

  3. Michigan has water on three sides.

  4. Alaska, Florida, Michigan.

  5. True....but New Jersey is "technically" a peninsula state, in that there is water on three sides of the state, but the "third side" is "just" the Delaware River, there are many bridges to Pennsylvania and so it's not often seen as being a peninsula. Parts of Maryland would count, as well as parts of Washington State near Seattle and BC. In This way definitely NJ counts because of Cape May and the southern 1/3 of the state definitely sticks out into the Delaware delta.

Technically Wisconsin has a large geographic peninsula extending up to Green Bay, most of Michigan is a peninsula with the great lakes on three sides, New York has Long Island which is an island but again separated by "just" a river.

Alaska, being as large as it is, is a continental sized peninsula, but there are also many smaller ones in Alaska, One could consider the whole horn of Africa a peninsula , or the lower 1/2 of South America, or the Flood Plain of China as such. Saudi Arabia exists on a Peninsula, as does the Sinai desert.

  6. New Jersey is not a peninsula. We only have the Hudson River on the eastern side.
