The tie-dye soaked through the gloves to my fingerz! now my fingerz are blue?

what do i do to get it off? help please!

  1. It depends on what type of dye it is.  Some dyes stay longer than others.  You pretty much have to what for it to wear off, but you can cut the time short by washing your hands (which is why the bleach works because you are basically washing your hands, but I would recommend just soap and water it isn't as bad for your skin).  Stuff like RIT dye takes like2 or 3 days, while dyes like procion dyes take 1-2 weeks.


  2. It's FINGERS, and you will have to let it wear off. It takes a couple of days.

  3. You could try using some Eucalyptus Oil it's usually really good for getting most things off.

  4. I tie-dye a lot, and i don't even bother using gloves any more. The trick is to use bleach on your hands. Pour a small amount in your hands, rub off the blue, then rinse then in warm water (rinse soon after you put the bleach on or you'll dry your skin.) You might have to do this a few times, but it works wonders.
