  1. It is possible, but the real question here is why they would want to sign him.

  2. They can put a claim in on him which would force the Tigers to either rescind the waivers or negotiate a trade to the Mets.  Most of the players in the league have gone through the waivers already since August 1st, it is a standard practice.  The Tigers obviously want to move his salary at this point so it may not take much to get him.

  3. Why would the Mets want such a troublemaker?

  4. hahahaha...I hadnt heard about this yet. Serves that loud mouth sonofagun right. He cant hit for c**p anymore & he is horible in the field...remember there is usually a reason why teams place a guy on waivers...because he sucks now!

  5. The Mets could claim him, but the Tigers could retract him and then work out a trade.

  6. How smart is their front office? If they are smart they won't sign him. If they are dumb they will.

  7. HE IS WAY TO INJURY PRONE, BUT THE METS DO NEED SOME HELP. I THINK HIS CAREER IS ABOUT OVER. HE MIGHT HAVE 2 MORE INJURY PLAGUED SEASONS AT LIKE 20 HOMERUNS OR SOMETHIN LIKE THAT IF HES LUCKY.  WAY TO GO GARY THOSE ROIDS REALLY HELPED U ALL THE WAY TO THE DL LOL.
