  1. You don't say which one you are using nor which country you live in but I am pretty sure that the increment is three hours previous to the last update. Because ... you can't take a radar scan in the future!

    Of course that is if you really mean 'radar map.' Some meteorological sites will also show the expected progression of cloud, rain, wind, etc. in the future. But then, it is not radar scan but CGI (Computer Generated Imagery).

    Those are also most probably generated in steps of three hours from the last one. Some sites keep those of the past 24 hours or so, and some delete them as soon as their time is gone.

    I am pretty sure that none start at midnight. There is no reason to do that, is it?
