  1. No.  They will probably be too big and rub.  Why would you want to do something that silly anyway?

  2. Yes you could but it would cause your speedometer to be off. Go for the stock size or something within a hair of it in terms of outside diameter.

  3. This is going to change your rolling radius (wheel and tire diameter) Stick to the OEM size. You could possibly ruin your drive train, by not using the correct tire size

  4. It will also mess up your speedometer readings ... When your speedometer indicates 60 MPH, you would actually be going 62.7 MPH.

  5. You might be able to. The new tire will be just a little over an inch taller and just less than and inch wider. Depending how tight the clearances are (you didn't tell us which car) that could mean they can rub when the front ones are turned all the way to lock. You would have to measure.

There won't be any load issues (in fact this size will carry more load). You might find the ride to be a little on the squishy side (there will be more sidewall flex). So it won't perform sportier; it will feel more luxurious.Your gas mileage will go down a little (might not be significant). Your speedometer will be off by a little.

I hope your wheel is between 5 - 7 inches. The tire really isn't safe beyond those figures and really hard to mount under 5 inches. Lot's of cars have a range of sizes available relating to different trim levels of the vehicle. You can see what they are in your car manual or sometimes on the sticker or plaque located either on the driver door jam or inside the glove compartment door. If it lists the 215 70-14 you're golden!

Make sure you replace all 4 as your ABS module can be fooled causing unsafe braking problems.
