Manchetser United vs Chelsea: The Title Decider
This weekend, Old Trafford will hold a massive clash between Chelsea and Manchester United, a clash that is being tipped as the biggest match of the season, a clash that will surely decide the title drift.
The clash will be no less than an epic battle between two modern day giants of English football and in more ways than one, this will be important for the two teams and a few individuals.
Here is why:
Chelsea
Not many, in fact no one saw this coming a few weeks ago. After an abysmal run of two wins in 10 games, Chelsea slipped to fifth in the league and 11 points adrift of Manchester United. Such was the superiority of United at that time
that Ancelotti said that his prime target will be to finish in the top four of the league. But since then, the circumstances have changed drastically.
Chelsea had been written off, by players, by managers and by football pundits. But a run of a few good games and some horrendous refereeing decisions have put the title race back in the melting pot. Chelsea’s win over Tottenham last
weekend coupled with Arsenal’s win over United was down to some terrible refereeing decisions and Manchester United now find the Londoners breathing right down their neck.
Although many claim that title race is still in the hands of Manchester United (win all the remaining games and the title is theirs), the same could be said about Chelsea.
A win for Chelsea against Manchester United on Sunday will leave the fans with an enticing prospect of the two teams trying to outscore each other in the remaining two games of the season.
United will be favourites to limp home to the title with their two games against Blackburn and Blackpool, while Chelsea face http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c39043 and Newcastle in their last two fixtures.
A win for United will surely kill the entire buzz, but imagine a win for Chelsea and the repercussions of that.

Manchester United
Choker is something that Manchester United is surely not. In fact, if any team in the league is expected to hold their nerve in crunch situations, the smart money will surely be on United. But if they somehow manage to lose this title
to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 after leading their London rivals by 11 points at one point, this surely will be the greatest Premier League comeback of all time.
Will United suffer a Keegan-esque choke or will Chelsea claim a United-esque comeback? It will all be decided on Sunday.
United have hardly ever made a mess of a situation like this but with everything at stake and all to play for on Sunday, one just cannot expect Chelsea to roll over for Manchester United.
Howard Webb
It is not often that a Premier League referee features in the column of teams/men to watch out for, but on Sunday the spot light will surely be on Howard, who many think is a welcome guest at Old Trafford.
It was not too long ago when an opposition player was fined for posting a Howard Webb picture wearing a United shirt, on his twitter account, but this is the same referee who officiated the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA World
Cup final last year.
A man of pedigree and respect is what Webb is, but on the evidence of his handling of the ugliest World Cup Final in the history of football, he surely will handle the pressure or will he?
