  1. Watch Namibia for number 5! ;o)

  2. Rankings don't mean all that much.  One bad game and the Springboks could be on the plane home once the finals start.

Tri Nations teams are the best because they are such strong sides and they play each other all the time, just like before.

Then, remember that in Super Fourteens there is a huge set of rookies that SA, NZ and Aus can draw on that have experience playing against the worlds best.

The Southern Hemisphere has the best Rugby Infrastructure in the world.  The Tri-Nations series develops some of the best players in the world, and thats why on a horrible day, the All Blacks could still match teams like Italy try for try when Italy is playing well.

  3. jajaja... como se nota que somos argentinos no? Disfrutemos de este momento que nos regalan los pumas..

    Saludos

  4. Only on the updated ratings. The Puma's had a good unforseen win. The Oz and Blacks played light sides and thrashed them, The South Africans held there own.

    The Northern Teams are coming!

  5. All the argintinians play in france and Britain (and Ireland)...

The SH cannot av em..They are ours..

    Ps) Rankings mean nothing.

  6. Does anyone not think "hang on here a minute, is the World Cup over yet? Have the southern hemisphere teams (tri-nations) actually trashed the likes of ireland or france on a given day in the tournment yet?"

Your bragging rights are only speculation at the moment, which  means absolutley squat at the moment.

Only when you do the deed are you entitled ur braggin rights, huh?

  7. oh bud ya im south african all the way

and thats why tri nations kicks whatever 6 nations c**p they try to have in europe

and the super 12 kills that european league to

  8. Quiet similar to my question.

Is this just another Tri Nations but in a bigger spot light? - It seems as though it is just a 3 horse race, between NZ, Aussie & South Africa. Does the thrill of the game get lost when it is just another tournament we see every year? Is it more interesting when Northen Hemisphere teams give us a run for our money than an opponent we play half a dozen test matches against each year?

    Additional Details

The three teams have only played one game each that is correct but, the level of game that they are playing at is un matched so far, and teams like england are strugling to even beat USA, which 4 years ago that match would of been just a formality but now is a just a low level of skill on Englands part.

  9. When you continously play agianst the best teams in the world, you will develop and play at their level. South Africa, Australia and especially New Zealand have dominated this sport for a long period of time. The Northern Hemisphere teams play agianst weaker teams in the 6 nations and how can it benefit you playing a nation that doesnt nearly play as well as you?

The 6 nations teams lose their skill because they play agianst weaker teams. They dont have to train as hard and dont have to play at 100 percent all the time. Whereas in the Trinations the teams play only good competition. They have to play 100 percent the whole time. When you have to play this hard obviously the level of competition is raised.
