The top four in the practice sessions
The Yas Marina Circuit unfolded the third and the final practice session for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix only a little while ago.
Just like all the other practice sessions the Red Bull driver, Sebastian Vettel was the fastest on the track.  Similarly, the other Red Bull driver, Mark Webber was the second fastest behind his teammate, followed by the McLaren driver, Lewis Hamilton. Although
he was expected to be seen ahead of Hamilton, yet Fernando Alonso parked his Ferrari at fourth place, as the third practice ended.
As believed by many,   the practice sessions could not predict the exact result of the race, however, the strengths and weaknesses of the teams as well as the cars could somehow be judged by these sessions.
The most clear prediction out of the three practices is that “Vettel is the fastest man” but only his speed is evident a bit too late for him. After bagging the race win last week in Brazil, he has emerged to be one of the toughest competitors of this season
and his probability of bagging victory at the next race is the highest. However, this is a little too late for the driver, he currently stands at third place in the charts and even if he wins the next race, the 15 points’ advantage of Alonso puts him in a
safer place than Vettel. The Spaniard would only need to finish at fourth place to win the championship or at fifth to make his points equal.
On the other hand, the Red Bull ace, Mark Webber, finished two of the practices at 4th place while the third one was ended by him at 2nd. Still he is one of the strongest title contenders after Alonso. His current 2nd place
in the points’ tally and a difference of just eight points from the top makes his chances very bright. Moreover, since it is mathematically clear that even Vettel’s victory could not grant him the title if Alonso is very fast therefore, Vettel has also vowed
to help Webber, if it is required.
Moreover, the McLaren driver, Lewis Hamilton although seemed out of the battle with his 24 points’ difference, yet he has jumped in the middle of the arena out of nowhere. His best lap time at the second practice and 3rd place finish in the last
session makes him a strong participant of the Sunday’s race although his title chances of the title are still vague.  To grab the 2nd championship the Briton would have to bag victory while he needs Alonso to finish pointless and both the Red Bull
drivers off the podium, a very rare possibility.
Still, the strongest contender for the title is Alonso, his top position in the tally, the good pace of Ferrari and his exceptionally skilful driving, puts him in the best winning position.
