The top of a snowboard box??

Question

Alright, so I work at a hockey rink and I am able to get both lexan and arena/puck board. So I was wondering which would be best to use on top of my box for snowboarding??

Lexan is what boxes are normally made with. Since I don't know the actual material they use for boards I really couldn't say for sure, but I would assume it's not as resistant to gouges since they dont expect skaters to be constantly jumping off the walls.
