Nat held the record of having the greatest goals per game ratio in the history of England. He netted in thirty-three goals in only thirty appearances for England, from 1950 to 1958.
His greatest achievement, by far, was scoring the two goals in Bolton's FA Cup final win against Manchester United in 1958. He is remembered by not only the Bolton fans, but also by the English fans from all across the globe. Nat started playing football
in 1946 and was signed to the Bolton Wanderers. The English player remained with the same club his entire football career and in the next 14 years he managed to make 452 appearances for the club and score a total of 255 goals.
Jack Charlton
John Jack Charlton is a 75-year-old, retired English professional football player. Born in Ashington, England, Jack played for Leeds United throughout his career as a footballer. He also happened to be a part of the England national team and playing for
the club from 1965 to 1970. The English player was deployed as a centre-back on the football field.
A product of the 1950s Leeds United youth academy, Charlton won over a myriad number of prestigious accolades including 1969 League Championship, 1972 FA Cup; 1968 League Cup and 1968 and 1971 Fairs Cups twice. The legendary player also holds the club record
for making 629 appearances. Indeed, the 1966 World Cup winner is remembered by all as one of the greatest players ever to run on the green fields of football arena.
