Isn't this a classic case for the death penalty? Do they have the death penalty over there? Yes, I know that most of us are on the fence over the death penalty in the UK, but can you think of a more hideous crime that deserves nothing less than the murderers' own demise?

  1. No I will never support the death penalty. I will never stoop to the level of a murderer.

  2. I agree, the death penalty is way too good for a murderer, but these people need to be saved. They should rot in prison and pray for forgiveness every moment of their lifes...

  3. I'm with Shambo on this one, there are far too many mistakes made by the judiciary to make the death penalty a viable punishment.

  4. I think they should be continually dipped in and out of boiling candle wax untill they suffocate.

  5. heartbreaking tragic story...but, no, never back to the death penalty.  Barry George would have been hung...so would Stefan Kishco....we must move forward, not back to the dark ages.

  6. I used to support the death penalty, but what happens when someone is wrongly convicted? Its bad enough to be locked up, but at least you can be subsequently released, what about the death penalty though? A pardon hardly makes up for the mistake does it?

As for cases where there is DNA? Sorry but i just don't trust the police, not all of them are honest! Sadly evidence can be manipulated.

  7. I think the whole of the country is angry at this shooting.

The death penalty is too good for the killer/killers.

Let them rot away in some Antiquan prison, the conditions in most foreign jails arn't as priviledged as here.

I don't agree with the death penalty for fear we are killing an innocent person.

No - life imprisonment. (until they come out in a box).

It would be an irony if the murderer was a convicted killer that had been deported by Britain to Antigua. see link.

  9. I saw a programme on the worlds worst prisons. Prisoners suffer in almost every other country so would rather they rot there.

  10. I'm from the USA and I'd say the death penalty for the people responsible for this crime. Maybe most of you in the UK have reasons for not supporting the death penalty but it is my position that criminals like these should not be housed and fed in an institution at the publics expense for life. I think that once they are convicted there is a 3 month window until sentence is carried out. A person or persons who would commit such an act against another human does not deserve to live another second.
