The trio up for taking down the Oran INH Flat Race challenge
The line-up of sixteen in the Oran INH Flat Race is a mix of those who are very lightly raced, and those for whom it is their first time at racing. The two mile event will be hosted by Roscommon race course on Monday, 1st October, 2012. The four-year-old runners will invade the track distance over the €4,830 prize money.
There are three candidates in the gathering with whom some expectations can be associated, Art Of Logistics, Curley Bill and Sitcom.
The D. T. Hughes trained, Art Of Logistics, was pretty impressive in his only single try during the previous season. Relying on his previous season’s form coupled with the race that he was a part of in the current season, might just turn into a surprise for the crowds and the connections.
The Butlersgrove Stud bred ended fourth in the Finlay Motor Group 4YO INH Flat Race (Fillies & Geldings) on 24th April, 2012 at Punchestown over two miles.
He was paired up with jockey, Mr. R. P. McNamara, for the race and finished once Grand Jesture, Director’s Forum and The Big Easy were done taking up the first three positions of the race.
Guiding him through the track distance today will be jockey, Mr. J. J. King.
The four-year-old bay gelding, Curley Bill, turns out to be the next most preferred entry in the field. The Noel Meade trained and owned parked ninth in the Goffs Land Rover Bumper INH Flat Race on 24th April, 2012 at Punchestown over two miles.
Some Article won the race by the margin of good 7 ½ lengths when racing with jockey, Mr. M. Fahey.
Heron Island’s four-year-old bay gelding out of, In Excelsis, will ride with, Ms. N. Carberry.
The final bright prospect for the race today is C. Roche trained, Sitcom, who qualified as the runner-up in the Tramore Amusement Park Mares INH Flat Race on 19th August, 2012 at Tramore race course over two miles.
Oscar’s bay filly missed the chance by 1 ¾ lengths, while the race was won by the favourite entry, Dani Catalonia.
