The triumphs of Grade OR chase at the Sheffield’s meeting
Besides the Grade A races the racing course scheduled four Open Race shows in the meeting of Sheffield. On the 12th of October 2011, total sixteen races were held out of which four quests announced the names of those victorious hounds who were
capable of winning the purse.
The Grade OR race started off with the Daily Mirror Trophy, covering 480 meters distance. The chase entailing the purse of £200 opened its trap doors at 20:31, to decide who the deserving winner is.
Trainer C Lister participated in the show with his victorious hound 2/1 F Bucks Blade. Before the race began all eyes were on the black dog, he was placed in with the most bets. Without wasting any precious moment, the two-year-old Bucks Blade commenced
through trap 3 with an abrupt and prompt attitude.
Not letting down C Lister’s hopes, the ideal hound of the chase surged himself with such an amazing swiftness that eventually he was able to attain the foremost position. Persistent at the pointer spot Bucks Blade accomplished in giving a hit in 28.08 seconds,
for C Lister.
Right after the first show the second combat placed six hounds in the traps to initiate the chase. Covering the 660 meters distance the JPC Promotions Race gave the signal at 20:47 for the purse of £200.
S Race’s Head Iton Granty was pictured as the triumphant hound, unfortunately the trap 6 racer with the even odds, badly got whitewashed by the purse winner Luke My Lad.
Trainer A McKenna’s white and black dog impressively covered the 660 meters distance in 40.01 seconds. With his swift early pace and constant speedy run rate, the two-year-old attained the leading location. The sixth bend was the shining moment for Luke
My Lad.
The third Grade OR was the GT News Trophy that gave the six beasts a chance to cover the 280 meters trip, for £200. Instead of Droopys Victor or River Fortune the joint favourites of the show, trainer J Sharp’s black dog Bowtime Honcho was lucky enough to
take the purse home.
The three-year-old hound with the odds of 4/1 was so swift that he was able to lead the chase during the first bend. His speedy tempo assisted him in getting hold of the wire, in 16.11 seconds.
The last chase at Sheffield N F R N Race concluded the Grade OR shows. Covering the distance of 500 meters the lucky winner Skywalker Louie was rewarded with £200.
E Parker’s blue and white dog chased the lure with such an inspiring pace that he was able to acquire the lead in the first bend. With the odds of 7/4 F, the two-year-old hound remained at the foremost spot to vanquish rest of the contenders, and so he did
in 29.17 seconds.
The victorious beasts stole the show with their electrifying triumphs. The meeting of Sheffield gave them a chance to enjoy the glee of winning with their trainers.
