  1. Feel free to email me. I believe you are in a treacherous place right now.

Anyone who believes that Jehovah's Witnesses may be teaching truth would be wise to pray, research and challenge away, before the stakes get higher! (accusations of apostacy, loss of family and friends, scarred children, the list goes on) And all in the name of "Unity!" For this reason and many others, the Jehovah's Witnesses are widely recognized as a psychologically and spiritually abusive cult.

Don't EVER stop questioning and challenging the authority religious leaders.

Acts 17:11 - Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

Did you catch that? The Bereans were NOBLE for questioning an APOSTLE, to see if anything he said wasn't accurate according to GOD's WORD!!!

So if is noble to question an Apostle, it is ALSO noble to question the Governing Body, pope, or any other religious leader. And any religious leader telling you otherwise should be a strong warning to run the other way! Do NOT be misled!

These words are not mine, but I hope you'll find them helpful! :)

All religions have one thing in common: they encourage their members to work as hard as they can to gain everlasting life, the celestial kingdom, nirvana, or whatever else they want to call it.

Biblical Christianity, however, is different. Instead of earning our goal as a reward, it is offered to us freely as a gift through Jesus Christ as the perfect sacrifice, whose offering of Himself was complete to earn our way to everlasting life with God the Father.

As Jesus Christ was dying, he said “It is finished” because from that point on, all anyone had to do was to trust His sacrifice to cover their sins. Everyone needs this sacrifice because the Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 that we are all sinners.

We are in such bad condition that when we try to earn favor with God through our good works, Isaiah 64:6 tells us that our righteous deeds are like filthy rags to God. In Mark 10:27 Jesus is answering His disciples’ question, “who then can be saved?” He said, “with man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.”

God realizes that man cannot possibly save himself through door-to-door preaching or ordinances of a church. That’s why God did not send an organization or a church to offer us peace with God, but He sent His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but through me.”

  2. On the internet you will find a lot of information both for and against JWs. (Most of it will be against)

A lot of the information against JWs is from people that are "disgruntled" in some way.

You see if someone claims to be doing Gods will, it seems people expect them to be perfect and make no mistakes.  This is were they fall down.

NO person or religou organisation is free of mistakes.  This includes JWs

However what we need to ask ourselves is which religous organisation is teaching what Jesus taught?

Which religous organisation is doing the will of God?

Of course you must answer that for yourself after examoning the evidnce from BOTH sides..

However, please do not look at a religion as being true or false  based on mistakes by individuals..  Even in the Bible we see many examples of people that made terible mistakes including conspiricy to murder.  We  see they were used by God and approoved by God. See the web site  http://users.picknowl.com.au/~hepburn/in...  for an essay on Gods use of imperfect people.

Does God work in signs?  There seems to be a conflict of oppion about this.  Mny people both JWs and people from other religions tell of experiences where it would appear that God gave some sign or direction to a particular religous group.  It happens for a lot of different religions.  Is it a coinsidence? who knows?  Is it God pointing to one and the Devil pointing to the others to confuse matters?  Who knows?

Do lots of research and ask lots of questions.  I will amswer any question you might have about JWs.

Yes we (JWs) do belive that we are doing what God requires of us, but please note that we teach salvation does not come from an organistion but from having a personal relationship with Jehovah and associationg with others that have the same mind set.

The organisation is not what saves us. But the organisation does help us keep on doing what is right in Jehovahs eyes and is a source of encouragment and help.  But our salvation is up to us to do our best according to our circumstances to follow Jehovah and his son Jesus.  No one esle can do it for us, but we do have help.

  3. Any answer that you receive on yahoo answers will be the opinion of whoever is giving you their answer. When it comes to a belief or your faith you should make sure it is Bible based. The Jehovah Witnesses pride themself for their knowledge that they have of the Bible and it's teachings. In fact they are persecuted on a world wide basis because of their beliefs, and it is no wonder, Jesus said they persecuted him and so would they persecut his followers. Acts 15:14 tells us that God took out a people for his name. Psalms 83:18; Isa 42:8; Ex 6:2,3; & Ex 3:15 tells us what God's name is. John 17:3 tells us what we need to do, best wishes.

  4. So if you clicked on 'I' you'd have read about Islam and thought that was a sign to  be Muslim?

No, I do not feel that stumbling on to a website and clicking on a 'j' and finding info on the JW religion is a sign.

I am glad that you were not harmed when you ran over the wires -- but I do not think that was divine intervention.  Most electrical or other dangerous wires are required to be contained in a safe way, so there was never any real risk to you

Are you sure you are not already a JW?  Not many refer to G-d by that name, so that sort of led me to think that you are already a JW (???)  If you're not, and believe what they teach, then I suppose it is right for you, which is what matters.  I personally do not think they have the 'truth' but if you do, then go for it

  5. ok this gets me really mad

if you need to push your religion on other people then that is not right at all and then you cant see your family if they dont believe in what you call a religion family should be the most important . you must be really desprate to go door to door and tell people that the world is going to end!:)

  6. You are not going to find out if the Witnessses have the "truth" from Witness material...sorry...you have to go to other Christian sorces and do some research....OOPA...you could get disfellowshipped for doing that...

get my point? any religion that is truth based will not discourage you from looking at other theology

    http://towerwatch.com

  7. If I wanted to get to know you, would it be better for me to spend some time with you or go to someone else, some one who does, for whatever reason, not like you ?

There are thousands websites and comments about Jehovah's witnesses. Negative, false, opinionated etc.

If you really are interested in seeing for yourself what the witnesses are about, talk to them. Not others.

The worldwide work is supported by voluntary donations. The bible education and literature is free of charge. No obligation. www.watchtower.org is the official website of Jehovah's witnesses. There you can read about them for yourself.

  8. I don't think it was a sign for you to convert. What He may be tellling you is to research. There are many denominations in Christianity, you need to educate yourself and to research to find one that you feel is the right choice.

Don't let anyone tell you one way is the right way, we are all human, therefore fallable. God will speak to you, you just need to listen to your heart and you will make the right choice. Do some research into other denominations, and when you find the right one, you will know.
