Does anyone who Isn't British realise, that London is guarantied not be ready in time for the 2012 Olympics?

Regardless of how long we've got to complete the constructions, it just won't be ready. Mark my words you'll have a brick man borrowing sand from the triple jump sand pit in the middle of an event. Trust me, just ask anyone who is British.

    LOL

  2. haha.

Who said that the Opening Ceremony for the British Olympics is going to be the most memorable event of 2013!!

(me? I'll be in some other country, pretending to be a local and sniggering)

ther'll be no point being in GB, the country will be bankrupt. Especially now the Polish cheap labour camps are returning to Poland!

  3. If the disorganized Greeks can pull it off, so can the British.  Hopefully you'll do a better job of financing it.  I think the Canadians are still paying off their debt.

  4. People said that about Athens and they were fine.

It's going to be pretty hard for us to match what the chinese did though because they spent £20 billion on there's and there is already controversy about our because it might cost £10 billion!

  5. Every country looks like not being ready on time

    but they always get finished.

Throw enough man power and money at a problem and it will get solved.

    London will be ready.

  6. British media was saying there isn't enough money to finish. No money, equals no building, even if you have 4 years.

A few months ago I think they were saying they were trying to scrape up money to pay for the Olympic village? Of course I could be wrong, the only British tv I really watch is BBCAmerica, so they could just be saying that so when they do unveil the Olympics there everyone can say see and they said it couldn't be done. There would be some good press and cut little puff pieces detailing the Olympics that almost wasn't.

  7. they're just sayin that, so London gets more press,

    which attracts more money.

    they will get it done.

they've got too much to lose if they don't!

  8. Don't Worry Mate

London won't be passing on such an event.

    They'll do whatever it takes.

    =]

  9. The amount of money the Government is pouring in and  the diversion of lottery money from other places and causes should ensure that the final completion will be a head of programme . If not bung in another billion or so !
