The tv screen goes on blue ,?

when i fast forward or rewind my vhs, so i cannot see the film rewinding or fast forwarding its just all blue,its a new lcd tv.

  2. haha its normal dont worry. its supposed to be like that, if its blue it is rewinding or fast fowarding fast than if you were rewinding or recording while the picture is showing

  3. That's the problem with mixing the old (vhs tape) with the new (lcd tv).

    TV's are now set to show the blue screen when they perceive "white noise" instead of showing the static. Your new TV thinks that the film rewinding or fast forwarding is a signal that isn't coming in properly, so it blues it out.

    I think the solution for this is to switch to a DVR -- it doesn't have to be TiVo or anything like that. You can get a DVR that records to reusable DVDs in the same way your VCR records to casette tapes. They're not expensive, either -- starting at around $75 last I checked.
