The two former wrestlers, Lex Luger and Nikita Koloff, spreading the word of religion
The two former World Championship Wrestlers (WCW), Lex Luger and Nikita Koloff, spent their weekend at Friend Church in Irmo, South Carolina USA, to spread the word of God.
Luger and Koloff spent nine years in the wrestling ring as a tag team. Koloff said, “I’m out and about and people will go hey you preached at my church in 1999 or 2004 and what’s quite staggering to me is that they remember the message”.
Lex Luger has been an active part of the wrestling world for almost fifteen years.
Three years back, he was found crippled in a hotel room and that disastrous experience led him to the way of God.
Luger said, “A lot of times they come wanting to hear about wrestling but they leave with what we feel they really need, which is Jesus”.
The pastor of Friend Church, Greg Dewey, told that he used the two wrestlers and it is helping the impact of his church. He added on that both of them were larger than life to him and their presence in the church meant a lot to him.
It has helped in motivating other people as well making their way to the church. The two wrestlers appeared at the church last year too, according to Dewey.
Lex Luger and Nikita Koloff said that they feel differently from entertaining people and have a close relation with God. Through hardships, God draws us to Him and it turns out to be a blessing.
Luger and Koloff have started visiting churches across the country together and individually. They move in groups to preach God’s message to other masses taking advantage of their fan-following.
Their friendship has also strengthened with their new phase of life and they are enjoying it.
They have met the real aim of their life on Earth and feel proud of what they do now. Their hearts are satisfied and the violence in their lives has come to an end.
Both the wrestlers have decided to spread the knowledge of religion to other people in the country and make them feel the purpose of their existence.
