The typical day of a mushroom?

For my science hw I need to specify the topic of fungus. I chose mushrooms-so now I need to write an essay on what a mushroom does on a normal daily basis...Please help!

alarm goes off b4 it gets light. Get up and make some dirt biscuits for the little wife and kids. go to work converting dung into useful dirt. Get pulled and clean and put into a little blue package and shipped to the grocery and then get eaten by some weird looking little kid.
