is it possible for a regular citizen to contribute to it? like can i do something to help it. if so, what are some examples?

  1. no a regular citizen cannot contribute to the list it takes years of data and posturing to get an animal on the list.To help research an endangered species  in your area if it is a plant find some seeds of it plant in a protected area grow till a good size and transplant into a good area to survive IE butternut tree in Ontario,build bird nesting boxes and place out in areas they may be IE Eastern Bluebird,place untreated wooden boards in wet or moist areas in the bush to provide harbour age for salamanders,just a few thoughts
