MARUANE CHAMAKH – BORDEAUX
The Moroccan marksman is most likely to be entreating crowds at the emirates next season after making clear of his wishes to play under Arsene Wenger but the striker is out of contract in the summer and with the deal not sealed as yet he may be raising eyebrows of many managers across the world. Arsenal however announced that they will sign the prolific scorer in the summer but no deal is confirmed until you put pen on paper of the player is seen holding the club’s scarf aloft and posing for press photographers.
JULIANO BALETTI – CHELSEA
The Brazilian has played for three seasons at Chelsea and still has not been able to get a permanent first team spot. The attacking full back is a world cup winner with Brazil and a Champions League winner with Barcelona after scoring the winning goal against Arsenal in 2006. The full back is running out of contract in the summer and is unlikely to be offered a new contract by Ancelotti after failing to impress the Italian and the ones before him, being a world cup winner and available for free is a mouth watering prospect and managers all across the board have their cheque books out to offer handsome signing fees to the Brazilian with Italy to be his most likely destination and Napoli the club.
MICHAEL BALLACK – CHELSEA
The former German captain was a superstar in his days with Bayern Munich but since joining Chelsea under the lure of Abrahimovic’s rubbles the midfield general has always lived under the shadows of Lampards and Essiens. With the maestro running out of contract in the summer managers in Germany have their eye set one a player who was once picked by the legend Pele as one of the 100 greatest living footballers.
WILLIAM GALLAS – ARSENAL
He may be a disruptive influence in the team, remember his petulant sulk at arsenal when their title challenge came to a grinding halt at Birmingham in 2008 or remember his threat to Chelsea to score an own goal over his dispute on contract term negotiations, having said all that the French international is still a top class defender and still at the top of his game despite his ageing legs his experience at the heart of defence is still desirable for many a sides across Europe. The Defender may not have many years left in him but he surely can go on for a season or two. With him running out contract in the summer his home country remains his most likely destination with Paris St Germain his favoured club.
KEVIN KURANYI – SCHALKE
A Brazilian born German international who has a lethal eye for goal is running out of contract in the summer and with a point to prove after being dumped out of the German national team by manager Joachim the 28 year old is still young and at him prime and out to prove a his doubters wrong. For Schalke it will hard to hold on to their priced asset after failing to negotiate a new contract with the marksman, Manchester city have set their sights on the striker and are more than likely to lure the lanky striker to east lands in the summer.
