The universe offers us an infinite tank of energy why not use it?

where is the free energy why do we need oil. its obsolete now from all the stuff ive read mankind needs to be less materialistic and lets make this c**p happen. if this c**p i read is real then mankind needs to wake up and go to war with the elite people running the show.

Where is all this "free energy" you're talking about?  If the electric utilities could do it, don't you think they would?

I will go for solar and wind power any day .I 've made my own solar oven , but to put solar panels on is so expensive ! My other way of harvesting solar energy is via growing my own vegies .The sun feeds my vegies and the vegies feed me . I don't burn fossil fuel for food shopping !

I would love a wind turbine , but would never get planning persmission for it because they are quite noisy for the urban house.

I am afriad the politicians are driven by economics , that's why going green was never top of their list.

Hey Folks lets get a handle on all this OK.  One fact is that energy can neither be created nor destroyed ..... Only converted in form.

Therefore, there is a energy cost involved in manufacturing, in transporting them to the end user, in erecting them and finally an efficiency cost when converting to another form.   It sounds real cool to use the alternative energy forms, but I am not sure we are really doing anything positive to solve the problem.  It is sort of putting your head in the sand.

Two things are a constants.  Energy and Entropy within our system.  One can be converted and the other can not but the balance will always be there.  

The safest with  the least emission of gases into the environment is Nuclear power.

first youll have to convince coorporate america to foot the bill for research.

Everybody thinks that the government needs to pay the bills..but as soon as they find out that they have to pay for it in taxes they back peddle "I didnt know i had to pay for it"

Everybody is in favor of recycling...but not if they have to help pay for it.

Everydody is quick to put the corrporations down for everything.

Remember that the majority of the stock holders are not multi millionares but little poops like us with three or four hundred dollars invested.

The only free energy that is useful to us is renewable energy such as solar power, wind, water (turbines) the government could care less about the environment, but they dont and they strive to achieve low cost energy for earth and make a cleaner place for everyone
