The university I am applying to in Czech republic wants me to pay the fees before I even go to the Czech?

I am applying for a university in the czech republic and i wana obtain my bachelor there.I cotacted the university and they told me that i shold pay all fo my tuition fees inorder to get an acceptnace and apply for a visa.and if a visa is refused then i get a refund.I am really hesitant abt this cz im afraid that i would lose my money this way since there are no guarantees that i would get my money back.what shall i do?thx for ur help

Which one ? Charles Uni ? Call them and simply ask them directly. Well it is not much money I believe (comparing to western europ. countries).

i am not sure about the actual visa policy, but generally the two things /the studies ad the arrival in the czech republic/ are not mutually dependant. you should be able to apply for a visa before you pay anything.

anyway it's Europe and not Africa, so basically you don't need to worry about the refunding in case you followed the "things-to-do" issued by your college - you should get your money back.
