  1. i dyed my hair. i ddnt like i at first, it took me a few days to get used to it but now i love it. lol. u should consult ur stylist. they know what'll look good on you.. && here..

ups: it can totally change the way u look. it can brighten up ur face and make it look a million times better. or bring out ur facial features like ur eyes && stuff.

downs: some ingredient in hair dye can cause cancer, some people with sensitive skin are allergic to the hair dye and it turns their scalp all red and itchy and stuff.

  2. ups: u could look gorgeous, it makes you feel renewed and confident, its a change, and its good to try some new things

downs: if you dye it drastically its hard to keep up with and you have to go get it re-done often (money), it could damage your hair, it could turn out terribly.

i really look forward to dying my hair.

im gonna dye mine platinum blond possibly when i go into high school, but i dont want to do it now because:

    1. im only in 7th grade and i dont want to process it too much while im still pretty young

    2. people at my school think that people dye their hair for attention, because they didnt feel confident before, and that you needed change to be beautiful

    but im so exited!!! :D

best of luck to you :)

  3. Don't let anyone tell you your hair will fall out.

The worst of what will happen is that your ends will get a little poofy, especially if you straighten your hair regularly, or your hair will get a little thinner. Trust me; I dye my hair all the time.

And, dying hair I think is really great. Especially with funky colours, it lets you express yourself. That sounded a little g*y, but whatever. :)

  4. Can be a fun thing to do but things I would alert someone on are....

1- It has to be retouch every 6 to 8 weeks.

2- If you don't know what you are doing you can get in trouble and end up at a salon paying big bucks for what is called corrective coloring.

3- It's a good way to make a change without cutting your hair.

4- If done to excess in can damage your hair and hair can be healed, conditioners only coat the hair so extreme damage has to be cut off.

5- Hair dyes have a tendency to darker, especially the browns.

6- Always follow manufacturers directions, many just apply it all over, when the direct state to retouch you apply to new growth only.

7- When going really dark make sure it is what you want because it is hard to remove and the process can be very damaging with bad results.

I could write a book... hope this helps;-)))

  5. ups - a change, new look, compliments, more self-confidence.

downs - could have an alergic reaction & end up with damage, damaged hair, too much money redoing roots etc.

  6. well, you can damage it, but damaged hair takes color better anyways. you could totally get the wrong color out of what you do, or it cod be perfect.

  7. Ups: Its a change, Compliments.

Downs: Ruins hair, Have to redye it to keep up with the color

  8. Ups- new style. if you use revelon *no ammonia* hair is is lustrous. new hair color may suit you better or look better. you choose what color you want.

Downs- Damages hair. Hair often doesn't come out the color on the box. A lot of time hard to fix if it comes out bad. Sometimes hard to care for. To cover roots you must re-dye often.

  9. bleaching ruins your hair and make hair grow slower

  10. Pro's - you can change your look, makes you feel good, gives you confidence

Con's - not healthy for your hair :(
