  1. *Insults* are an entirely different thing from pointing out 'weaknesses in experience or judgment' based on provable past history.


  2. Attacks ads appeal to the uninformed voter.  Some people don't look into the research the truth behind the ads.  Attack ads also force an opposing candidate to go on the defense instead of the offense.

    I personally think that the campaign season will be better off without attack ads.
