  1. I think that would be breaking copyright laws. Why don't you make you own story up together, it will be much more fun and a valuable learning experience.

  2. Did you try googling it?  Check out this web site: http://www.dltk-teach.com/books/hungryca...

There are some fun activities including sequencing activities.  I like your idea of making the book together.  What a wonderful, constructive activity for you and your daughter to do together!  Please check out the web site above.  I bet you can use it to help you put your book together!

Maybe you can extend your idea by going on to make other books together.  You can teach her concepts of print and basic book skills that way.  She will learn what Author and Illustrator mean, whe will learn that print carries a message, flows from left to right, and top to bottom.  She will also learn that groups of letters build words, and groups of words build sentences, and so on.  You are on the right track.  Go for it!

  3. The Very Hungry Caterpillar

    by Eric Carle

In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf.

One Sunday morning, the warm sun came up and POP! – out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar.

    POP!

He started to look for some food.

On Monday he ate through one apple,

    But he was still hungry.

On Tuesday, he ate through two pears,

    But he was still hungry.

On Wednesday, he ate through three plums,

    But he was still hungry.

On Thursday, he ate through four strawberries,

    But he was still hungry.

On Friday, he ate through five oranges,

    But he was still hungry.

On Saturday, he ate through cake, cherry pie, sausage, ice cream, salami and a lollipop.

That night he had a stomach ache.

The next day was Sunday again. The caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf,

And after that he felt much better.

But now he wasn’t hungry anymore. And he wasn’t a little caterpillar anymore.

He was a big fat caterpillar.

He built a small house around himself, called a Cocoon,

And he stayed inside for more than two weeks.

Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out, and

    He was a beautiful butterfly.

  4. Just buy another book

    There only like 10 bucks

And it would be neater than a homemade book
