Ok so i have this JVC Everio camcorder and i just got a USB cable for it today so i could upload some vids onto youtube. Well when i get home i connect it 2 my laptop and i select connect to device from the camcorder options, and then the options screen pops up like usual when u want 2 install a new device on the laptop but it says like Upload pics, view pics, and stuff. but no uploading video type related stuff. I hav Windows Vista if that helps.I hav never uploaded a vid 2 utube using a video camera before. and my windows movie maker wont open up now and it says "Windows Movie Maker cannot start because your videocard doesn't support the required level of hardware acceleration or hardware aceleration not availiable." This started after my laptops hardrive failed and i had to restore it

but the internet and everthing worked fine except movie maker! Please ppl this is making me really mad! I dont hav Quicktime installer yet. Well i hope you can help me! Thanks

xoxo Olivia

  1. You can try reinstalling or updating the driver for your video card, so your Windows Movie Maker will work again.

and if we knew the model of your camcorder, we might know another alternative to try.

  2. u need to install the everio cd installer that's the only way to upload ur movie into a laptop or if u dont have visit www.jvc/com/everio
