  1. v(s) = s³

    v(5) = 5³ = 125 units³


  2. It just seems like a complicated way of asking you to find the volume of the cube.

    All that function c**p is saying is let's call the volume of the cube V. And V is equal to the length of the side, cubed i.e. V=(s^3)

    or more simply V=5x5x5=125.

    As for the bit about explaining what it represents, it's just the volume of the cube (i.e. height x width x depth)

  3. V (5) = 5³ = 125 units ³

    This is volume of cube of side 5 units

  4. V(5) represent the volume of a cube with side length 5.
