The volume key on my sony vaio isnt working.?

my sony vaio vgn-bx760's volume key isnt working wen i press FN key its only the one to lower the volume that doesnt work but wen i press it it makes the screen say volume but the volume wont go down. same problem with the -brightness

I have a Sony Vaio also --- if you go to the lower right corner, there should be an icon that looks like a speaker...you can double click that and adjust the volume that way.

If the utilities from the SONY co. isn't installed on your laptop the feature keys won't work. You better go to SONY site (http://www.sony.com/index.php) and download the drivers and utilities, then install them. It will probably solve your problem.
