The war and the corpses...?

This is a war, there will be the corpses on all sides.

I've just read the info that Georgia is refusing to take bodies of of theier soldiers died during invasion to S.Ossetia. There are still a lack of information so I cannot be sure about it.

There were also info that there are some "black" corpses. There are no black people in the area, so it probably can be some of US instructors the georgian army has.

In case this fact will be proved will US take them to bury or will refuse to recognize them as US soldiers?

  1. To start with under UN law and recognition South Ossetia is part of the nation of Georgia and if, as you claim in another post, the Russians are peace loving people who always keep treaties and respect the UN why do you and the Russians keep acting like SO and it's citizens are anything besides Georgian?  I have read Russian papers talking about Serbs, Chechen, and so on being called up or volunteering to fight Georgia so even in the Georgians had other nationals there what is the difference?    The aggression in this conflict was by the Russians and if they do respect and abide ny UN rules why did they move SS-21 missiles into Georgia (UN says SO is part of the nation of Georgia and is not independent or part of Russia) after they had signed a cease fire that said they were supposed to move back to the same lines that were there before the Russian attack and remove all troops from SO that were not there as part of the peace keeping force prior to the attack?

  2. What makes you thing there are no black people in that part of the world and why would you say they were US instructors. There are black people, just as there are people of many other races, living all over the world. I personally know a Native American living in Bangkok Thailand. I don't know where you are getting your information from, but I'd switch sources.

  3. To some Russians there are only two kinds of people in the world: Russians and "Cherno Zhopye" (Black asses). So, maybe you heard some information which was using that insulting phrase to describe some of the mortal remains. There are no dead U.S. armed forces personnel reported in this engagement between Russia and Georgia.

The U.S., distinctive among all nations in the world, carries out herculean efforts to recover the mortal remains of its dead members of the armed forces. We are involved in recovering them from the Korean Peninsula and Indochina from previous conflicts. We just carried out final disposition and burial of a B-25 crew whose mortal remains were found in the South Pacific and had been there since World War Two.

  4. *Update*

You just said it : "After the fightings we discovered there were many peoples from Baltic countries, Ukraine and we have found the merecenaries African origin".

If any of our people were killed and we didn't want their affiliation with us disclosed we wouldn't tell anyone what they were doing when they died but they would still be offered a proper burial.

The situation out there is moving so fast that details are scetchy at best right now. Facts, made up stuff and lies abound at the moment.

  5. The US is not hiding the fact that there are military and civilian advisers in Georgia. There is no reason to refuse to recognize any deceased US personnel. Deceased US personnel will be returned to the US.

  6. You've never heard of a black russian?!

  7. Im not likeing any of this at all. Russia is being mean and showing their true colors. I mean if those bodies were US soilders then whats next!! Poland is now getting a missle defense system installed and Russia is like WTF no we dont like that. This short war could be the start of a major war to come.
