  1. clean the bowl and replace the water

  2. Ghost Shrimp fan is right,

just to add to it.. make sure your doing 15% water changes every 3 days or so (depending on the size of your tank) during this time so as not to stress out the fish.

  3. how much do you feed it? i have one. It's only a little fish. Just feed like a tiny little pinch of food.

  4. do a 25% water change once a week and use filter-aid made by inter-pet it clumps up all the particles making the water crystal clear to allow your filter to do its job properly

  5. dont feed it alot of food :)

  6. You need to let your tank cycle. You can't just pop a fish into a tank or bowl (bowls are bad!!) without letting it go through its natural cycling process first.

  7. add alum to water, impurities will settle.

  8. Just do a partial water change and wait a bit.  The cloudiness is actually a good thing.  It's a bacterial bloom, which means that the beneficial bacteria that deal with fish wastes, turning toxic ammonia and nitrite into less toxic nitrates are growing rapidly in your betta's tank.  The cloudiness will disappear in a day or two once the bacteria settles down and colonizes the porous surfaces in the tank, such as the gravel and any filter media (I hope you have a filter for your betta).
